Stein Eriksen - Olympic Champion
Olympic
Champion Stein Eriksen is one of the most
charismatic figures in the history of skiing.
Stein came out of nowhere to win gold and silver
medals for Norway at the 1952 Oslo Olympic's. He
moved to the U.S. teaching at Boyne
Mountain, Heavenly Valley, Sugarbush, Aspen and
Snowmass. In 1981, he came to Utah's Deer Valley
resort, lending his name to its lodge. To "Ski
like Stein!" means to ski gracefully, always
in balance, legs together and seduce the
mountain!
